Day 1 of Chemo

We started the chemo yesterday and actually got our first dose last night and finished it at around 2 am. She tolerated it fairly well. She had a rough time staying asleep and was eventually wide awake at 2am and I think at this point she was feeling bad. She started to be whiney and stuff. But they gave her Benadryl by IV and she has been out since then. She didn't have a nap yesterday so she was worn out and then chemo on top of it well you can imagine.
I am pretty sure this is how you spell the name of the drug she received last night. Cystplatin.
She will receive Vincristine in the morning and we will go home. But I am so thankful she was able to rest through most of it last night.
I feel like I have been hit by a train and just really tired. But a shower and Diet Dr.Pepper should help.
I will try to post more details later today about her treatment plan.

Very Busy...Lots of Changes

Here are the highlights and hopefully by this weekend I won't have lost my mind and I can write more.
1. Right now, we do not have a sitter. This is not good considering I work full time.
2. Landon finally got approved for the Kimba stroller!!! WAHOO!!
3. Isabella WILL BE LISTED FOR TRANSPLANT AND RECEIVE CHEMO TO KEEP CANCER CONFINED TO LIVER.
4. The phone jack in the kitchen works.
5. I kicked my cats out of the guest bathroom
6. People who take care of kids just for a paycheck and don't have any heart in it shouldn't do it.
