New Video is up!! About the only thing...

productive I have done this weekend. I am still healing from the muscle thing.
The kids are doing well. Isabella did have a bile duct stricture issue post transplant and we are still dealing with that. but it basically is just a tube we flush that is in her bile duct and they will look again on 9/18 to see how it is and if we can pull it for good!!
Landon is doing great. No cardiology appointments for the big guy until 2010!

Time on my hands

Well as of yesterday I am unemployeed. I ran out of FMLA time and to much unscheduled time off due to Isabella's liver transplant. But we have plans in place in case this happened so hopefully all will be ok.
Isabella is doing awesome. We had some rough spots that ranged from bile duct narrowing, staph and rejection but as of now she is back to her sassy ways. I hope to get back in the habit of blogging ASAP. Check our pictures and video there are some recent items up there. More will be coming:)
Landon has gained 4lbs. He is just a big little guy. His smile is amazing and he may be starting school in the spring which is very exciting.
There is alot of change in the air for us but sometimes it is a good thing to close one door and open another.

Its been a long time

I can't say anything except busy. Transplant went great but we have hit our bumps in the road. Isabella has faired well but she has been through alot. We have had an episode of rejection, bile duct narrowed and required tube and drain and we just removed her port and brought her home with periph. Iv to do Vancomycin. I want to write alot more because we have had tons of good stuff as well. But we have been so busy.
Landon's heart appt went awesome and guess what. He can go 9 months before his next visit!! Go Landon!! Wahoo! Hopefully my head will rest this week and I can type some more details.

Isabella has rec'd a liver

On Saturday, March 21 of 2009 I received a liver that is a perfect fit for her. This liver can last her a lifetime. I have seen miracles and amazing things, but words can't describe this. She is doing very very well and the liver is functioning. She is still sedated but they will probably start weaning her meds today so we can get her off of the ventilator.
Alot of prayers went out and they were answered and I am so grateful and my heart is so heavy with many emotions. But please rememember that we were blessed but somewhere another family suffered a loss that gave Isabella a better life. Please keep them in your prayers.

I will try to update more but computer access is hard and I am just tired. But please spread to those who have followed and now more than ever I encourage donations. Even $5.00 can help.

The time has come to kick up our fundraising efforts as we already got a call last night for a possible liver but it did not come through for some pretty rare reasons and we need to raise money to help while I am without work. Isabella is starting lose her hair. It has been cut and before long she will be bald.
